Hello Again

Since Victor doesn't update his site, here is a picture of his family on Halloween when they visited my parents. Notice that he is the only one not dressed up.

Today my dad and I went up to Michael's house. Upon arriving, I noticed that Hannah is now the same height as I am! I am 20 and she is only 13, yet we look like the same age.

Idaho!

Everyone stay off the roads!!!! Jonathon is now 16!!! He had to light his own candles with a propane torch.

Thursday my parents, Alison, and Jonathon all went to Idaho to visit my grandparents.

And they went a potato diggin'

Then on Saturday they stopped to visit Duane and Christina.

They discovered Duane had visited the dermatologist. He has stitches where skin cancer was removed.

My Apartment

My camera is working now, so here are some pictures of my moving day and my apartment.

I just love my little car!
This is my kitchen. Don't you just love the color scheme?

Here is the living room. The old roommate that moved out in the middle of Aug hasn't taken her bed yet. We have becoming very sick of having a bed in the corner of the living room.

Here is my bed and my closet.
But the best part of this apartment is the location!!!! But since this is the internet I really can't disclose or show that.

Catching Up

August 31 I moved out of my parents and into an apartment downtown Salt Lake. It is in the most awesome location!! I have two roommates, Jessica and Mercedes, which are the best I could ask for. Jessica (22) has her own room and I don't see her much because she works 2 jobs. Mercedes (19) I see much more of since we share a room. She works part time and goes to LDS Business College. She will be graduating in December and plans to go to the University of Utah.
My classes started in August and I have the full load of 16 credits while working 26 hours. I can tell already it is going to be a very tough semester.
I am sorry, but I don't have any pictures this time because my camera is dead. But my father finally gave in and bought a digital camera of his own. Here are some pictures of Jonathon and him doing their favorite activity together - shooting!

Family Vacation - Part II

Day 3
We went sight seeing around Yellowstone.

This was how close the buffalow came to our car

Then around four o'clock, we arrived at the Hunter reunion cabin in Idaho which was about 40 min. away from Yellowstone. Of 5 of my mother's brothers and sisters, four of them and their families were able to make it. Lauralee and her family live is Sweden and won't be able to come to the states for two more years.
Later that night we sang camp songs around a fire

And Jonathon just couldn't resist getting his hair done.

Day 4
We took our cousins to Yellowstone.

Day 5

We went geocaching which is like treasure hunting using a G.P.S. (my Dad's new favorite toy). Here we found the cache in this abandoned fireplace.

Day 6
We said good-by to everyone and headed back to Utah.

Family vacation 2006 - Part I

Last week we went on a 6 day family vacation which was a blast!
Day 1
We went camping in the Grand Tetons. We stayed the night in a tent-cabin (half tent, half cabin)

Day 2

We headed to Yellowstone, while making several stops in the Grand Tetons. Our favorite stop was along Lake Jackson.

We soon found out that Jonathon was an expert at skipping rocks.

He tried teaching my mother, but it turned out to be a hopeless cause. She was just not meant to skip rocks :(

Dad found a "cool" stick (just look at the smile on his face) and had my mother admirer it with him.

When we made it to Yellowstone, my Dad sat and relaxed as we (Alison, Jonathon, and me) had to set up the tent.

Summer Fun

Finals are finally over! I think I did fairly well (crossing my fingers). I am now officially half way done with school!
Today's post is dedicated to summer and to show what we have been up to. I have spent most of my time studying hard all summer. Exciting, I know.Jonathon has been spending most of his time building with lagos and playing on the computer with friends. Alison has been mostly working, but prefers not to have her picture taken in her uniform.
Then, my dad has been spending a lot of time at the shooting range. My mother, on the other hand, has spent most of the summer worry about him.
