More Rabbits

It is official! My dad is no longer going through a phase. His rabbit obsession is now a hobby. He now has 7 “breeding” rabbits and 5 kits (they are 2 weeks old).

If you are in need of rabbit meat, feel free to ask him.

A Cruise to Mexico?

The day after graduation my friend, Brigette, and I drove down to San Diego to catch a cruise ship that left the next day. Originally, it was a Mexican cruise that was going to stop at Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. But with the outbreak of the swine flu that changed. The four night cruise spent one day at Catalina and the rest at sea.

This is the city of Avalon which only takes up one square mile on Catalina Island. Population 4,000. The rest of Catalina Island looks like Utah, so there are no picture of inland.

Brigette and I took a ride on this semi-submerged sub.

The ship still travelled to Mexico, but didn't let anyone off. Here is the view of Mexico from our room.

U of U Graduation

May 9 was my graduation ceremony. I graduated in December, but the ceremony is held once a year in May. There were 1,000 people that were graduating from the business school.

Easter Dinner

This year’s Easter was celebrated at the Moss’ house, and all the Degn families that live in Utah were there.

Cara made these cute bread animals.

The cousins all had fun playing and tackling each other.  I swear I have the cutest cousins ever.

A few days before, Lehi had a bad wind storm, and you can see what it did to the Moss' yard and fence in the video.

A Wet Real Soccer Game

Last Saturday, my friends and I went to our first ever Real soccer game in their brand new stadium.  Almost the whole time we were there it rained, and we all left very wet.  I found out the next day that the Mosses were also at this game. 

Sunday Visitors

On Sundays, Alison and Adam come to visit us, and we have a family dinner.  This is usually what the scene looks like after dinner – the 3 of us working on laptops.
