Summary of May

Life in May according to Jasen's and my iPhone photos:

My mother celebrated her 50th birthday, and Jasen got a nice new bike.

I had a business trip in Wisconsin where I had all the cheese that I wanted.

Jasen and I dog-sat Jasen's childhood dog, Cody, while his parents were out of town.

Jasen and I had our very first anniversary.  It is hard to believe we have been married for a whole year!

It has began!

Last week the building of our house began with the digging for the foundation and the pouring of the footings.  It is so exciting to see actual progress!  My parents' house, on the other hand, is still waiting on the building permit from the city to begin the building process.

Summary of March

Life in March according to my iPhone photos (sorry about the lateness of this post):

I paid another visit to Tarrytown, New York for a business trip.  This time there was no hurricane.

I also took a business trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where the snow was piled high.

Jasen, my father-in-law, and brother-in-law tackled the major job of trimming the hair and clipping the nails on Jasen's 25 lb childhood dog.

Life is Full of Changes - New Houses and a New Job

This week was full of some big changes for our family.  First, Jasen and I signed a contract to build a house in The Ranches (Eagle Mountain, UT).  Above is a picture of our perfect lot - level and only 10 minutes from the freeway.  We also love our House Plan (see the link).  We are having the builders finish the basement as a 3 bedroom apartment.  Not only are we becoming first time home buyers, but also first time land lards.

Second, my last day at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) was yesterday.  I will be working for Henry Schein as a Senior Accountant starting next week.  Henry Schein's office is only 15 minutes from where our new house will be located!

Third, my parents also just bought a lot in Mapleton and currently looking at house plans.

Lots and lots of changes for us.
