Thanksgiving Shooting

This is how my husband spends Thanksgiving.

Guns

Last weekend Jasen and his friend, who is a photographer, had a photo shoot with their guns and ammo.  Their back drop was my black filing cabinet and matte board.  Here are 3 of the pictures (the gun grips and snake skin holster Jasen made).  To say Jasen was giddy with these pictures is an understatement.  Click here to see the rest of the pictures.

Logan Weekend

Last weekend, Jasen and I did a mini vacation in Logan, Utah. We ate at the local dinners, relaxed, visited the Logan temple, and visited some gun stores (per Jasen's request).  It was a nice escape for the both of us.

We also experienced our first of the season blizzard on our drive home which made a beautiful, but tense drive.

Looking for Autumn Leaves in the Mountains

Today Jasen and I took a trip to the mountains to see the autumn leaves.  Sadly, we found we were a little too late - most of the leaves had fallen and the vegetation was now brown.  We have been too busy on setting up our new house and haven't had time to pay a visit to the mountains during the peak of the colors.  But today we were determined to find the last of the colored autumn leaves.

And we found the remaining bright leaves in the sea of brown!

Double Date Shooting

Last weekend, Jasen and I went on a double date shooting trip with one of his good friends and his wife (Justin and Dez).  The shooting was in preparation of the class that Justin, Dez, and I took the very next day.  The three of us took a firearm concealer permit class (Jasen already has his).  

All Moved In

We have now lived in our house for 2 weeks and have loved every minute of it.  It is so nice to have a place of our own.  We are still setting up the house, so I will have to post more pictures later. Meanwhile, my parents' house is coming along nicely and is expected to be done early December.  Below is a picture of their soon-to-be lovely house
