While my mother was out picking apples, she didn't see a branch and was poked in the eye. Luckily, she closed her eye just in time.

We have a litter of 6 kits which is our largest litter thus far. They are just so cute that we couldn't resist taking all these pictures.

This year we had some pumpkins that grew on the other side of our fence. So it took 2 people and 2 ladders to pick 3 pumpkins.

They are some fine looking pumpkins! My cousin Mia became a proud owner of one, and, of course, I had to take one to my house.

Jonathon's Mission Call

Jonathon received his mission call today from the stake president. He was called and set apart today to serve as a service missionary at the Provo MTC for 12 months. He will be living at home and commuting to the MTC. Since Jonathon has health problems, he is unable to serve a regular full time LDS mission.

Utah State Fair

Our family is a big fan of the state fair. It is fun to see all the stinky animals and enjoy the fact that you don't own any of them.

The one thing I learned this day was not to get too close to a sheep's face. They can sneeze on you.
