Summary of Febuary

Jasen finally finished our bed.  Isn't it gorgeous?

  

Alison and Adam came to Utah for a visit.  This gave Jasen and my dad an excuse to go shooting.

  

Adam's New Job

In one week, Adam will start his brand new job as deputy district attorney for Tulare County.  Adam, Alison and soon-to-be baby Charlotte will be moving to Visalia (only an 11 hour drive from my parents' house).

Summary of January

I have been working next to the old Provo tabernacle and have spent the month watch the building being dug up.  

 

Fog

This weekend, the cities along the Wasatch front have been engulfed in fog.  We don't get fog very often, so I was excited to venture outside and take some pictures.  I tried to take some pictures of Jasen in the fog, but he wouldn't leave the comfort of the heated car (he wasn't excited about the fog as I was).  The pictures below were taken by Jasen from the car window.

The Wicked Witch and the Princess

The other day, my mother was going through her filing cabinet and found this a story that I had written and illustrated when I was in second grade.  

Holsters

Both my father and my husband have a new obsession... I mean hobby.  They enjoy the art of leather holsters making.  Below is Jasen's very first holster for his CZ.

 

Below is the holster my father made for my mother's gun (so romantic, right?).
