The day after graduation my friend, Brigette, and I drove down to San Diego to catch a cruise ship that left the next day. Originally, it was a Mexican cruise that was going to stop at Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. But with the outbreak of the swine flu that changed. The four night cruise spent one day at Catalina and the rest at sea.
Here are pictures of the Children's Beach which has been taken over by seals.

This is the view of Catalina and the World ship from our room.
This is the city of Avalon which only takes up one square mile on Catalina Island. Population 4,000. The rest of Catalina Island looks like Utah, so there are no picture of inland.

Brigette and I took a ride on this semi-submerged sub.
The ship still travelled to Mexico, but didn't let anyone off. Here is the view of Mexico from our room.

After the cruise, we went to the San Deigo Zoo.
