Lehi Rodeo 2009

After living in Lehi since 1996, I finally went to Lehi's annual rodeo. My parents have yet to go. The weather was great the first half hour...

but then it became very stormy with a lot of wind and rain.

The World Campion in Bull riding was even there. Here is a video of his riding.

The Wasatch Back Relay

Last weekend I ran in the Wasatch Back Relay which is the biggest race in Utah. It starts in Logan and ends in Park City for a total of 188 miles in a 2 day period. My team was sponsored by my work, so I ran with 11 other co-workers. I ran a total of 3 different legs which came out to be a total of 13 miles (a lot of it was up hill). It turned out to be really fun, and I hope to do it again next year. One of the fun things about the race was decorating our van.

Here I am stretching before my 4:30 AM leg.

We weren't able to get much sleep during the 2 day period. We slept only a couple of hours at a park and a couple of hours in a school's gym.

Training in Chicago

Last week I spent all my time in training sessions for my internship at PricewaterhouseCoopers. The training just happened to be in Chicago. Unfortunately, the classes didn’t get out until 6:30. So, after going to dinner, there wasn’t much time to explore. Below was the view from my hotal window.

A bunch of us interns made sure we tried Chicago style pizza. It was delish!

This was the view from the women's bathroom at a restaurant on top of the Hancock building. They sure do know how to treat the ladies. One of the guy interns had to get a sneak peak of it.
