Sunday Gathering

My aunt Monica (she is the one on the right in the picture below) came into town this weekend which gave all of the Utah Degns an excuse to get-together on Sunday at my grandmother's house.  I am just so bless to have so much family around me!

Now, do we look like cousins or what? (I am the one on the right)

Who could resist these kiddos?

The Gratitude Tree

This Thanksgiving my grandmother created a Gratitude Tree for our family.  A paper leaf was placed on top of each place setting for our Thanksgiving dinner.  Everyone had to write what they were thankful for on the leaf and hand it to my grandmother before we were allowed to partake of the feast.

Our leaves created this lovely tree.

Scenes from Thanksgiving

My Grandparents are leaving on a mission soon, so Thanksgiving was a big family celebration with my mother's siblings and their families.  We rented a cabin in Idaho and spent Wednesday to Saturday together. I just can't think of a better way to spend a holiday, than surrounded by my wonderful family.

We had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner,

got busy with crafts,

played many card and board games,

played pool,

and couldn't keep away from those electronics.

Here are some other scenes from my Thanksgiving weekend:

The very last day we took group photos.  Here is my mother with her siblings and parents:

Here is the whole family (minus Alison and Adam who were in San Jose with his family):
