Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve, our family celebrated with my dad's side of the the family. We all went over to my Aunt Amalie's and Uncle Blaine's house for dinner and festivities.

We even had our own little Christmas pageant...

It started with Samuel the Lamanite preaching of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Mary (on a donkey) and Joseph then took the stage.

The Shepherds and the lone, very tall sheep (Alison) joined Mary and Joseph.

Then finally the 3 wise men came to bring their gifts.

What a great way to spend Christmas Eve!

Blast From the Past

I found this picture the other day. I fell in love with it and just had to post it. So here is Jonathon, Alison, and me back in the day.

The Charlie Brown Tree

The other day, I put up a little Charlie Brown Christmas tree. In the process of setting it up, I kind of broke the one, single ornament. So now my Charlie Brown tree looks even more pathetic.

Thanksgiving 2010

For Thanksgiving this year, our family went over to my uncle Eric's and aunt Laura's house. All of my mom's side of the family were there, except for Alison and Adam (they went to his parent's house). That's a total of 36 people (mostly children). What a great way to spend Thanksgiving!

Here is a picture of me with my newest cousin. Isn't she a cutie?

We also played many rounds of card games.

My father was the hit of the evening with the kids. He taught them all how to make survival rope bracelets.

Snow?!

Yesterday morning I woke up to SNOW! It isn't even Halloween yet, and here is a snow storm. See all the green leafs that are still on the trees. Crazy Utah weather...

Taking a Break From the Rabbits

My dad has decided to take a break from his rabbit hobby. He really enjoyed his rabbits, but it was time consuming. He sold all but 2 rabbits in the past few months. I took his last 2 rabbits, along with some cages, to my uncle’s house in Tooele on Saturday. This has left my father completely rabbit free. A picture of my happy father is below.

And here is a picture of my happy uncle.

Never Too Old

You are never too old to play kickball. And apparently, I am never too old to scrape up my knees by sliding/stumbling into 3rd base.

Done with the Tests

From January 12th until July 9th, I have been studying and taking my CPA tests (there are 4 in all). It was one of the most miserable things I have ever done, but I am happy to say that I have passed all my tests. I can think of nothing worse than having to retake one of those horrible, nasty tests. I am now on my way to becoming a Certified Public Accountant. Hooray!

Below is a video that I find very enjoyable.

Victoria's Baptism

On Saturday my cousin Victoria had her baptism, and of course there was a family get-together for her!

The bridal pose (hehe):

Now don't we look like cousins?

Expert Roofer

Lehi can have some very powerful wind storms. A few of times a year, my father has to replace patches of shingles on the roof that the wind has blown away. He has now become an expert in the area of roofing due to all of his patch work. Here is my father going to work on the latest wind mishap. And yes, for some reason he is vacuuming the roof in these pictures.

Shakespearean Festival

Last week my parents and Jonathon went to Cedar City for the Shakespearean Festival. Going to the festival is one of my parent's favorite things to do, and they try to make it down once a year.

My family also did some site seeing in Southern Utah. One of the places that they visited was the oldest LDS chapel that is still in use.
