Sunday Night

Between work, school, and friends I am rarely home. But Sundays are the days I stay put and spend time with my family. This Sunday I spent some quality time French braiding my mother’s hair as she talk on the phone.

Jonathon sat right along side me in hopes of fulfilling his brotherly duty – pestering his sister. In the end my mother made him leave the room because each time his brotherly duty was accomplished, I pulled harder on her hair.

Here is my mother's beautiful hair. I thought the pink ribbons added a nice touch.

Sadly, as soon as her phone call was done, she took out the braids.

Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday Monica and her twins, Victor and his family, Graham and his family, Amalie and her family, Grandma Suzy, and our little family all got together. We had a big Degn family dinner at the Moss’ house.

It turned out to be a beautiful day outside. So most of the cousins played outside. I had the privilege of being tackled on the tamp. In the picture below Eric is holding onto to my leg.

Coloring Eggs

My mother wanted to have colored Easter eggs this year, but she wasn’t able to convince Jonathon or me to dye the eggs. So she decided to color the eggs by herself.

Here he is holding up my dad. My parent's wedding day was also Grandma's and Grandpa's 25th wedding anniversary. Next year would have been Grandma's and Grandpa's 50 anniversary.
